SeaTV produce visual pilot videos on the mooring and facilities around.

Sailing Area: Isola Piana - The Best Day Anchorage, Sardinia

Anchorages at Isola Piana and Plage du Petit Sperone

Between rocky walls, fine silky sandy ground, and transparent turquoise water, there are two spectacular anchorages to consider in calm weather with good holding. These spots are excellent for a day stop, swimming, and breakfast. However, later in the day, the place fills with tourist boats and many bathers.

Anchorage Details

Isola Piana: 41° 22.50′ N, 9° 13.50′ E

Plage du Petit Sperone: 41° 22.20′ N, 9° 13.37′ E

Isola Piana is located about 5 miles from Bonifacio. On your way, you will pass several secluded beaches, lovely in calm weather. When we arrived, it was cloudy and windy, but then the clouds disappeared, luckily for us. To remind you, we sailed there at the end of August.

Navigation and Anchorage

Please pay attention to the navigation maps when approaching; rocks frame the islet, and it’s a nature reserve around the island of Piana. You can anchor in 5-10m on sand.

At the beach, you can rent water sports equipment and enjoy the stunning surroundings.
