Sailing Area: Panama

Our Sailing adventure in Panama divided into two:

At the first leg, we sailed in the Caribbean Sea ( the Atlantic side)

starting from shelter bay marina to Portobelo, a small historic city. (a video in the description below).

San-Blas islands are 14NM sail away from Portobelo.

A beautiful Area covered with palm tree islands, sandy beaches, waters a variety of blue, excellent snorkelling and very few villages.

The second leg was crossing the Panama Canal, which is a great adventure indeed… and sailing the Pacific side of Panama:

The Pearl Islands are Located 35 NM from Panama City. There are plenty of anchorages to choose from, mostly deserted, though one should watch out for the 5-metre tidal range especially when landing the dinghy on the beach.
