Stintino Sailing and Mooring Guide

Stintino is about 2.5 miles south of Formelli, on the northwest side of Sardinia. It is a 20-minute walk from Marina Stintino.

They welcomed us nicely at Stintino’s marina and helped us with everything we needed, including car rental and fuel.

I was fascinated by this small fishing village; the main street is full of shops, good restaurants, tempting pizzerias, and one gelateria you will remember forever.

Renting a car and exploring the area are recommended; there are many attractive places to visit.

Approach

Fornelli Passage: 40.980740, 8.226552

Upon approach, the village’s white houses and a long breakwater are visible. Care is needed to avoid the reef and shallow waters off the promontory.  It’s best to book in advance.

Laid moorings are available, and the shelter is good.

Facilities

There is no fuel station at the marina, but you can find fuel in Porto Mannu / Nautilus Marine.

Showers and toilets are available next to the marina office, as well as garbage disposal facilities.
