From the E the houses will be seen until you are into the bay.

With the prevailing wind there are strong gusts so care is needed 

Mooring 

You can go stern on the S quay in the inner harbour 

or alongside on the N side of the entrance

In calm weather you can anchor in the bay

The new marina is under construction 

With strong southerlies a surge develops in the inner harbour.
