Rhodes is the largest of the twelve Dodecanese islands. The city of Rhodes offers an Infinity of magical and pastoral bays crowned with indescribably turquoise waters.

The old town holds a mystical atmosphere, fantastic restaurants, and shops for all souvenir lovers. Talk a walk around in the twilight when it’s not too hot, just before dinner. speaking of which, there are a couple of lovely restaurants to note; check out the link below

Lindos,  Approximately 24M SE of the old town

Early in the morning or late in the afternoon, visit Lindos, walking through narrow and shady alleys, restaurants, shops, and a wide spectacular beach in a car-free town. You can sail to Lindos and anchor in the bay.

There is also a small bay south of the castle and a large parking lot nearby.

You can climb to the castle on foot or on a donkey’s back; The view is breathtaking.

Butterflies Valley- this nature park with walking trails offers a summer home for many butterflies. Note, Butterflies only in summer.

Antoni Kouin bay is very popular and crowded in season, yet it’s one of my favourites.

Kolympia on the E coast of Rhodes has two excellent restaurants, relatively quiet in season.

Kritinia Castle – Built on a hilltop in 1472 by the Knights of St. John, the castle’s remains overlook the Aegean Sea.

Castle of Monolithos- Ruins of a 15th-century castle built on a cliff with picturesque views of the sea & a nearby cafe.

You can anchor in Mandraki port (36°26’.58N 28°13’.36E) which is very crowded in the summer (VHF Ch09).
