Blefouti Bay: 37° 11.35′ N, 26° 49.07′ E
Blefouti Bay is known for its transparent waters, perfect for swimming. However, care is needed at the entrance to the bay due to rocks. The bay is open to north-northeast winds but well-protected from southerly winds.
Anchoring in Blefouti Bay
Bottom: Sand and seagrass. Avoid anchoring on seagrass.
Best anchoring spot: Drop your anchor to the west and ensure it is well dug in.
Note: On the south side of the bay, there is an old Italian military structure.
Artemis Leros Boatyard: 37° 11.17′ N, 26° 47.73′ E
The Artemis Leros Boatyard is conveniently located close to the airport. Care is needed around the fish farms, and there are “Stand by to lift” mooring buoys available.
Ormos Partheni: 37° 11.53′ N, 26° 48.40′ E
Ormos Partheni is a sheltered bay near the boatyard and fish farms, offering private mooring. The bottom is mud, providing good holding. However, note that there are no facilities available in this area.
