sailing route from the Balearic Islands to Sardinia and Corsica;
Take a couple of days to relax in Alghero after the long journey, stroll through the old town, rent a car and drive to Bosa and Porto Conte.
Day 1: Sail north to Formal Passage – this is an excellent stop for a swim and a siesta. Stintino is about 3 miles from Formali, a small village with a unique charm.
Day 2: Sail west about 21 miles to Castelsardo
Day 3: Leave early towards Bonifacio, about 35 miles- take your time to discover this magical place.
Day 4: One of the best day anchorages that we loved is on the east coast of Bonifacio,Isola Piana. Treat yourself to a starry night at Cala Lazarina, excellent for an overnight anchorage
Day 5: Start your day in Cala Lunga; it’s also a good overnight anchorage, or pick a mooring buoy in Porto Puddu / Porto Liscia / Porto Pozzo.
Day 6: Cala Corsara in Spargi is suitable for anchoring in the early hours in calm weather. About 3.5 miles to la Maddalena – one of the attractions;
There are stunning beaches and bays all around; in general, the sky’s the limit – plenty of options for the perfect mooring or anchorages when the weather permits…
