Kamares Port: A Sailor’s Guide to the West Coast of Sifnos

The port of Kamares is on the west coast of Sifnos. It’s a simple but good harbour with excellent facilities for sailors.

Mooring Details

There’s a surge with westerlies, but the bottom is sand and offers fair holding, providing good shelter. You can moor off the quay or alongside the mole in five meters (16 ft) of hard sand. However, beware of rocks.
