Kefalonia Sailing and Mooring Guide

Overview

Kefalonia is impressive, with its attractive beaches, turquoise waters, and green mountains.

Approach

From the North: Buildings will become visible as you approach.

From the South: The port will only be visible when you are around Ak Dhekalia.

VHF: Ch10

Mooring

Go stern to the pier. The depth ranges from 4-7m. The town quay is usually full of fishing boats, and the basin west of the port is shallow and reserved for local boats. The bottom is mud, providing good holding.
