Discover Milos Island: The Western Gem of the Southern Cyclades

Notable Anchorages on Milos Island

  • Adamantas (36° 43.424′ N, 24° 26.803′ E) – Scroll down to watch the video.
  • Pollonia (36° 45′ 55″ N, 24° 31′ 42″ E) – Care is needed of the reefs from the N & S entrance. The bay is open to the E. Ashore, you’ll find tavernas and mini markets.
  • Provatas (36° 40′ 7″ N, 24° 26′ 44″ E) – Located on the S side of Milos. A large two-headed bay. In calm weather, it’s a wonderful anchorage.
  • Kleftiko Beach (36° 39′ 2″ N, 24° 19′ 57″ E) – Care is needed in this magnificent place due to shifting winds. During the daytime, it’s crowded. It will present you with beautiful crystal-clear water.
  • Klima Beach (36° 44′ 4″ N, 24° 25′ 9″ E) – Suitable in calm weather.
  • Paralia Papafragkas (36° 45′ 16″ N, 24° 30′ 5″ E) – A good spot in calm weather to explore the white cliffs.
