Best anchorage Spargi La Maddalena Italy

Spargi – Cala Corsara  41°13.714’N  9°20.538’E

About a mile W of la Maddalena lies Spargi. This is a rocky and hilly island, rising to 155m.

Spargi has a unique charm, if you ignore the Cruise ships that fill the beach with bathers.

Approach:

From the S lies Secca Corsara marked by S cardinal.

Spargiotto lies off the NE corner of Spargi – this area is prohibited

There are 3 anchorages around the Island, although in summer yachts anchor wherever convenient.

We anchored in 5m on sand Cala Corsara  41°13.714’N  9°20.538’E

Take care not to tie up with the yellow buoys or anchor near them – private (tourist boats).

care is needed–  dangerous for swimming. Still, don’t give it up in good weather, early in the morning or at night.
