Cala Figuera port Is a unique Mallorcan fjord on the SE of the island 

Fill with a large fishing fleet but few docking places, but most inexpensive.

Approach 

From the N the old watchtower – torre d’en Beu

Next to the radar station on hexagonal lighthouse with black & white stripes.

from the S modern houses estate.

Morring

Buoys on the port side are private.

anchoring in not permitted.

Depth approx. 2-5m

The berths are sheltered, but strong in-shore winds create swell.

Lots of fishing boats

The berths are sheltered 

Care is needed- fishing boats leave & enter with speed, and causes waves at the berths.

Only few berths are available of visitors

Sailors tips

Lovely sightseeing

Take a walk around the inner port, surrounded by old boat houses.

Continue to the watchtower  and lighthouse N of the port entrance 

You can find lovely bay’s northern corner and upstairs.

Or hike to the southern harbour entrance with steep cliffs overlooking the watchtower & lighthouse .

Santanyi

Santanyi is 4.5 km away  

Walk around the Shops & galleries

And try not to miss the market every Wed 9-13
