Approach 

Porto Cheli is located in the Eastern Peloponnese 3.7 miles north of the Island of Spetses.

Care is needed when approaching from the E: There are underwater rocks around Cape Ayios Aimilianos

Anchorage

There are lovely coves where you can anchor in calm weather.

The bottom is mud/ sand and holding is excellent.

This bay offers excellent all-around shelter

It is recommended to anchor on the SE of the bay, away from noisy music from hotels

The S side of the bay is shallow water anchorage

Mooring

You can stern to the town quay

Avoid the ferry and taxi mooring area

You can take a water taxi to Spetses  

Town quay

You can moor here to get water and fuel (both by tanker). bay groceries. Get AC power if you need it. Then move out to the huge anchorage.
