Sailing Koh Rang, Koh Chang

SeaTV produce visual pilot videos on the mooring and facilities around.

Sailing Area: Sailing Koh Rang, Koh Chang

Koh Rang is the most popular place for diving & snorkelling in the Koh Cang archipelago.

There are several rocky islands on the SE side of Koh Rang with floating ropes for swimmers & divers.

Care is needed, there are strong currents swimming in & out the area.

Anchoring around the northeastern islands is prohibited. There are some mooring buoys for yachts, but make sure it’s yellow. These moorings are for day time not for overnight.

For overnight, go to the upper west side of the island, and you can also fill your water tanks which is problematic when sailing around the area.

There are some mooring buoys, or you can anchor in 10-12m in the middel of the bay.

No restaurants ashore.

There are jungle hikes.

Bathroomes & showers are on the north side of the beach.
