We took a short pause from the Mediterranean Sea and joined the Via Maris flotilla, led by Dudi in Koh Chang, Thailand.

It was a long journey; two flights taxi & a ferry.

First, we needed to exchange money, then chill & relax in a resort.

We checked in at the charter base on the southern bay of the Island , went through the skippers briefing and sailed off the next day.

Koh Chang archipelago is a national park near the Cambodian border.

Sailed about 20M to Koh Kut island , anchored in 5m on sandy bottom-

Captain hook’s resort 11°40’55.8″N 102°31’31.5″E

Took the dinghy for a ride in the small river

And had a marvelous dinner at the Captain hook’s resort.

Continued south, to the The waterfall stop, for a day anchorage in 5-10m –

Ao Khlong Chao 11°37’51.4″N 102°32’31.2″E

For overnight anchorage, we chose the southern bay of the island, which is sheltered and wide –

Ao Phrao 11°35’19.7″N 102°33’58.4″E

Koh Kut is the southern point of Eastern Thailand, with many Thai-style resorts, fishing villages, waterfalls & rivers to explore, protected anchorages, and palm-lined sandy beaches for relaxing long walks.
