Along the long spectacular coastline in the middle of the mountainous, 

on the NW coast of Mallorca, lies Soller.

A natural bay provides good shelter & lovely scenery.

Approach 

With strong onshore winds the waves causing unpredictable swell.

The entrance is clear from shallow places.

We stayed in marina Tramontana for three days, as it was very stormy, 

took the historic train that links the port to the centre of Soller, 

rented a car and drove to Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca, about an hour drive. 

Do not miss this vibrant city.
