Es Trenc Beach Overview

Es Trenc is one of the most famous natural beaches on Mallorca’s south coast. It has a long coastline, turquoise waters, and ample space for anchoring.

La Ràpita Marina

Location and Details

Coordinates: 39°21’37.0″N 2°57’10.7″E

  • Important charter tour marina
  • Located approximately one mile NW of Es Trenc
  • 13 nautical miles to Cabrera

Approach

  • Exercise caution due to many surfers along the beach
  • Strong inshore winds may complicate entry

  • 40-50 visitor berths available (in season) inside the breakwater near the fuel station
  • Mooring lines provided
  • Advance booking recommended
  • Depth: 2.5 – 3.5m
  • Max length: 20m
  • Max draft: 3m

Anchorages

Es Trenc

Coordinates: 39°20’51.7″N 2°58’33.2″E

  • Located southeast of the small village Ses Covetes
  • Swimming area marked with yellow buoys

Illa Gavina

Coordinates: 39°20’10.8″N 2°59’12.0″E

  • Anchor in 5-8m on sand, good holding
  • Open to the south
  • Nice beaches and two restaurants ashore
