Overview

Kotor lies at the end of Boka Bay, a region known for its stunning scenery and rich history. The town is filled with churches, museums, and beautiful buildings from different periods, making it a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site.

Marina Information

The marina in Kotor is located directly across from the old part of the town. The Old Town of Kotor was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and is a must-see for any visitor.

Exploring Kotor

The best time to climb the 1350 steps to the fortress is during the morning or late afternoon. Wear sturdy shoes (not flip-flops) because the stairs are uneven in some places, and bring a bottle of water. The entire hike takes around two hours round-trip.

Berthing and Anchoring

For berthing, go stern-to along the main quay. Note that anchoring in the harbor area is not permitted.

You can anchor in 7m depth at the far end of Kotor Bay (Kotrorski Zaliv). Smaller boats can use the southeast quay.
