Camogli Harbour Guide

Overview

Camogli (44°21’.1N 09°08’.9E)

The harbour lies at the bottom of wooded slopes, approximately 0.6M south of Recco.

Approach

Tall old houses frame the harbour, creating a picturesque entrance.

Dangers

  1. In strong south and west winds, a swell forms at the entrance.
  2. Rocks above and below the water require careful navigation.

Mooring

  • Depths: 2-4m
  • VHF: Ch 16
  • Fore & aft mooring right across the inner basin.
  • Yachts should go bows-to where indicated.

Shelter

Good shelter is provided only in calm weather.

Facilities

  • Water on the quay in the inner basin
  • Fuel on the quay near the entrance
